The period property was beautifully decorated outside with Christmas decor, we visited on the 6th of December, inside was equally festive and welcoming the sitting room had a large log fire, we were shown immediately to a lovely suite which had antique furniture, lots of choice of tea and coffee, we we're also asked if we wanted fresh milk for the morning.
The bathroom was very modern, toiletries, bathrobes and fluffy white towels provided, the shower spotlessly clean and good water pressure, very spacious also had a Bluetooth mirror to play your music, I want one!
The bed was super comfy and warm even with storm Darragh in full force had an excellent sleep every night.
Breakfast was 10/10 plenty of choice and my husband had a full English 3 days running discovered hogs pudding now we have to find a recipe!,.Top quality sausage and bacon. vegan and gluten free was also available.
Jason the owner was even kind enough to give us a lift into lynton on the Sunday as we had booked a meal in a restaurant.
The location is just amazing you can hear the river and see the coast from just feet away.

The location of the Rising Sun is wonderful, located opposite the harbour in Lynmouth. My partner and myself stayed in January so very much out of season however the pub did lack atmosphere, plenty of people were staying at the property but it did seem they were eating and drinking elsewhere in the evening.
The Blue Ball Inn is located in the north of Exmoor National Park, 500 metres from the sea. It offers home-cooked food, a traditional pub and rooms with countryside views.

Gregg made us feel very welcome. The room was comfy and had everything we needed, with extra touches like fresh milk and chilled drinking water available in addition to the usual tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was great - lots of choice and what we had was delicious! The property is ideally located in the middle of Lynton, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this charming bed and breakfast. Alison was incredibly attentive to our needs, ensuring we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. She upgraded us to a room with a stunning sea view, which made our stay extra special. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of delicious, freshly prepared options. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we would highly recommend staying here!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Quaint and charming with plenty of parking and really comfortable beds. Very dog friendly with sausages for their breakfast!
Excellent dinner and breakfast. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Excellent value for money.
Great location. Loved the cosy house with a lot of space for us to move around. There was a private path leading to the town centre and beach. So that was very convenient. Very friendly host who made sure everything was available for us.
This is a charming, small, private hotel (only 7 rooms) managed by two ladies who do everything and provide a homely service. Excellent breakfasts. The one dinner we had there was similarly excellent. Breakfast and dinner must be booked in advance which sounds a little quirky until you see how it enables the two ladies to have the meals prepared just right with the freshest ingredients.
