Ed and Hester are incredibly gracious hosts. You are guests in their home and they make you feel as one of the family. They offered spot-on recommendations for dinner at several of the restaurants and pubs in the nearby towns and took great interest in our plans for touring the Cotswolds, offereing several valuable suggestions. A wonderful breakfast is prepared to your liking and on your timetable. The expansive views of the English countryside from this serene hilltop location can't be beat.

A lovely historic building, with a beautiful old fireplace in my room. The breakfast was generous, and the room cosy and comfortable. The shower was strong and hot, and the staff were cheerful and friendly. I enjoyed my supper.

Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the service and food were excellent. It was the best breakfast I've ever had, with good quality produce. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, followed by fresh fruit and yogurt from the buffet. The location was perfect, very peaceful.

Lovely room, gorgeous view, friendly staff. Attractive restaurant, bar was dog friendly but you felt part of the overall experience and same menu. Dinner was excellent. Dog friendly rooms, very quiet. Lovely walks around for the dog. Well maintained grounds. Delicious breakfast, superior quality buffet. View from fellow travellers was that full English could be improved, too many mushrooms and a bit dry. My scrambled eggs were well made.
