We had a great stay at Elagh cottages. We were staying in Derry for the Halloween celebrations. The cottages were only a 15 minute drive into the city & close to family were visiting.
The cottages had everything we needed & the view was incredible. The children were delighted with their wee Halloween party bags & were so excited to visit the donkeys the next morning.

Everything! The staff, amenities, decor, and food were all spectacular. The hosts all went above and beyond to ensure that we had a positive experience, and recommended great food, pubs, and local sites. The breakfast provided was amazing. Derry is a special place, and The Lawrence is a really wonderful place to stay. We hope to visit again and will absolutely be staying at the Lawrence!

Our two-night stay here was wonderful. As soon as we arrived after a day’s drive we were made to feel so welcomed. Eilish immediately ushered us in, saw we weren’t enthusiastic about finding a place for dinner so she even offered to make us one! Our room and bathroom were large and extremely comfortable with excellent Wi-Fi. The location was outside of the city’s fray yet easy to get into the city center. Breakfast was amazing with early coffee left outside our door and delicious options catered to our vegetarianism. We felt comfortable making ourselves at home, which you can’t always count on when you’re in someone else’s residence. You’ll be very fortunate if you can land here for a stay!

Great location in the heart of Derry. Kieran made check-in and check-out really simple, and allowed us to store luggage for a few hours after checkout. Breakfast was basic, but nice. There were fun luxury amenities in the room like a heated towel rack and bath sheets (instead of just towels).

The property is super quaint, clean and in a great location close to the city centre. Kevin is a brilliant host, very knowledgeable about the town - recommending places to eat & drink - and was super helpful when we messaged asking questions about parking. I liked everything, even the climb up the hill to get there.The decor was fresh, colourful, well cared for. Great location - 5 minute walk from university campus where we were going to an open day. Also easy walk from riverside and city centre. Clean room and comfortable beds. Quiet area. Bottles of water, orange juice and biscuits in room was nice addition.
