Jo was a fantastic host and very welcoming. My room was huge, as was the bathroom. Everything was spotless. The property is extremely handy for the railway station.
In particular my breakfast was absolutely delicious and Jo kindly facilitated a Gluten Free and Vegetarian breakfast. The porridge with stewed fruit was a highlight.

Stayed in the Queensbury suite which was fabulous. The evening food was lovely prices good, staff very busy with large parties but still managed service with a smile. Breakfast ok. Location good. Grounds to walk the dog. It was a nice evening and so we could sit outside for a drink. Not far from Dumfries.

Lovely, quiet room, friendly and efficient staff, very good food in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast. Easy to find from the M6 and a really relaxing evening after a long drive from the Hebrides.
The location was ideal as we were walking the Annandale Way. It was quietly situated but minutes away from shops and facilities. The cottage was very well equipped and Gary was a great host, keeping in touch regularly.
Excellent breakfast included and the room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good.
