The extra touches by the owner were fantastic and much appreciated.
The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was good. It is small but works very well for 2 or 3 adults. There is a single fold out bed if needed.

I can't express how impressed I was with Croft Cottage. My wife booked it last minute, unseen, as we were just looking for a bed for the night. I was expecting small quarters and a staff more interested in my wallet than me. BOY WAS I WRONG! Our room was huge and clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a full bath, not just a stand up shower, towel warmer, all the little extras I didn't expect. The house had recently been renovated and you could tell no shortcuts were taken. Julian and John, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast the next morning was made to order to perfection. I would almost travel back to Scotland just to stay here again. If you're ever in the Ullapool area you would be missing out by not staying at the Crof Cottage.

The whole experience! We were enthusiastically welcomed by Ballal and felt at ease straight away. Our suite was spacious and decorated so well with a stunning view. The bathroom was huge.
Breakfast was a real treat with home grown ingredients, home made granola and sour dough bread. It was hard to choose what to eat. Ballal and Robin are so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and it made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.

A wonderful bed and breakfast, with very friendly and helpful hosts, a great room and excellent breakfast. We have really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again, if ever in the area. We appreciated the upfront message telling us that most restaurants have limited availability in February, so we could make our own dinner arrangements ahead of our stay. The area of Lochinvar is beautiful and certainly worth a visit.
