It is a charming cottage, Alicia, is a great host. Very friendly, but not intrusive, the breakfasts are fantastic, great variety, quality ingredients, you certainly won't leave hungry.

A true Home from Home! Kevin and Karen could not have been more accommodating, and helpful during my stay they were amazing - the room was lovely and cosy, breakfast was cooked to order and was fantastic! Fabulous location, meer minutes walk to the pier and the beach - a lovely welcoming vibe throughout. Would highly recommend if you are visiting the area!
The Chudleigh is located close to Clacton-on-Sea's pier, seafront and shopping centre.

My room was spotless with a huge comfy 6ft bed and all the lovely extras like toiletries tea and coffee facilities even a fridge was in the room

Very peaceful quiet location,when we opened the door there was a lovely fragrance and it was very clean,the room was small but comfortable for two people but not for tall or big persons,the location is good as the shops are 5 minutes drive and Clacton-on-Sea is about 10 minutes,meet the lovely host Julie and her three lovely dogs, dogs are not allowed but she said if you have a small dog she may make an exception you just need to let her know first when you book.

Cosiness, comfy chairs, chocolate, biscuits and milk on arrival. Hospitality very good. Having a small fridge was such a bonus. Comfortable bed. Privacy. Would definitely come again. We loved it's being quaint and quiet and peaceful. If your staying for 1 or 2 nights it's so so much nicer than a hotel chain.
The Lodge was so pretty. quiet, private, relaxing after a busy working day. it had everything I needed, comfy bed, shower and could make coffee do I was rested before my next busy workday. I found it so much better than my usual hotel stays.
