The Cathedral Hotel, hotel in Lichfield

Featuring a bar, The Cathedral Hotel is located in Lichfield in the Staffordshire region, 15 km from Drayton Manor Theme Park and 19 km from Belfry Golf Club.

The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The heating had broken on the day we arrived, but they provided alternative electric radiators, which worked very well and offered extra blankets if we needed them. Breakfast was lovely and hot with plenty of optons.

Great location, just a 5 minute walk from the city centre. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is on site parking. Breakfast had a good choice of cereal and fruit etc with a buffet style cooked breakfast. Toast is made to order, so no wastage. In our room the bedding and towels were very clean and the bed was so comfortable.

We liked the quiet location not far from Waitrose and the city centre, the understanding and willingness of the hosts to provide a late checkout, the light and airy nature of the flat and the heating, which sadly was needed at times despite being July!

This is a luxury b and b with lovely public rooms, antique wood furniture in the bedrooms, quality toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a good breakfast choice. We were in the Victoria Room, with a private bathroom across the corridor, I don't know what other rooms offer. The hotel is close to the city centre with easy parking at the side and back .
