Slerra Hill Bed and Breakfast, Clovelly, hotel in Hartland

Set in Bideford in the Devon region, Slerra Hill Bed and Breakfast, Clovelly offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Our stay at Slerra Hill was great! The room was very spacious with two comfy chairs to relax in, and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was clean and a modern style. Even though the room is within the hosts home, we were able to come and go as we pleased. The breakfast in the morning was tasty, with options given. Becky our host was very friendly and chatty, which made us feel very welcome and at ease. There is a great gastro pub/restaurant 10 minutes away, by car, we ate there both nights of our stay and the food was delicious! It’s a great base for visiting Hartland and Clovelly.

In a quiet Location. Cosy comfortable cottage on farm land well away from road noise. Great host who where there if we needed anything but left us alone to enjoy our time away. Great bed and we slept so well. Wood burner was very efficient throwing out lots of heat. But equally the underfloor heating was great to. We loved watching the birds everyday as there was a bird feeder in the garden and saw deer on one of our walks in the fields behind the cottage.

The cottages are comfortable, clean and well fitted out. It's an excellent location, with hiking trails, fantastic scenery and an awesome waterfall at Spekes mill mouth. It did feel like being in an episode of game of thrones, hiking amongst all the vast landscape, minus the sword weilding bandits and dragons! Back at the cottages, there is full access to the gym, sauna and steam which are great for use after a full day out. Peaceful, quiet and soothing, with great hosts to assist along the way, when needed!
