What a lovely historical home! Friends in the area recommended my staying there for a short trip from London to the Bedfordshire area to see friends.
The Manor house is quite impressive and one could spend a great deal of time puttering about and viewing all the rooms. My room, the red Kings Room was on the top floor, with very nice views of parts of the Garden.
Comfortable bed with a canopy, en suite bathroom, coffee maker and electric kettle. Prior to arriving or shortly thereafter, you can place your order for which type of breakfast you'd like to have in the mornings. I recommend the Full English... it was substantial.
My host and owner was a wealth of information regarding the history of the establishmrnt. My conversations with him were insightful. The Gardens are pretty, but it was a bit too wet to sit outside, I opted for the bright and airy library to have a cup if tea, read and relax.
Staying here was a treat, almost like being in a period movie. All that was missing were Mr. Carson. Mrs. Hughes Thomas and the Crawleys. 😉

Both the room and bathroom were clean, and there was also a tidy kitchen open for guests to use. Bed was pretty comfy, and there was also a small desk and chair at the corner suitable for jotting down something if needed. Towels were provided too. There was a electronic number lock on each room, which made me feel safe as a solo female traveler.

Solid breakfast as mentioned by others. Crispy fried bacon and beautiful soft egg. Sausage also tastes good. There are white and brown toast slices and many toaster slots. I really like the family feeling.
The inn itself is small but adequate, for the price. I am slightly regretting for not bringing slippers as the carpet looks dated, and the bedding is also a little old and smells damp, but otherwise the room looks clean. The staff are constantly vacuuming the public areas too, so perhaps it isn’t that bad…
The shower has surprisingly high water pressure and nice temperature.
The windows are small and not much ventilation. I am fine with the 20 degree summer nights, though my friend found her room too hot and stuffy— and her window opens to the corridor. Rooms are tiny to be honest but just enough for a quick one stay. It’s also not loud at all considering it’s a pub, despite some squeaking floor.
The front desk lady is super friendly. The pub goers are also nice and not the intimidating type.
And the pub welcomes dogs!! I saw a huge Irish wolfhound, which made my day.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Beyond eclectic, much more than I expected. Chock full of weird and wonderful artifacts. David is a great host and a very interesting chap. No televisions in the rooms which aren't required as there is so much to see. Great sitting room with large selection of books . Good breakfast, Harlington Manor is unlike other hotels and better for it
Amazing old Manor house with all the wonky crooked and creaky features that make such a historic building special. Loved our comfortable high bed with footstool to climb onto. Excellent breakfast provided by nice host with fresh fruit salad as well as cooked items. Good pub close by.
Stunning venue. Returning customer over and over as I love the place. Exceptional host, David who is charming, genuine and completes a stay without fault. Harlington Manor
has beautifully outstanding, luxurious rooms. Complete luxury in a beautiful house and grounds.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host David was friendly and spent time to talk with us. We received an excellent breakfast. We hope to return. A wonderful home in a great location as we were walking The Bunyan Way.
Superb historic building, beamed rooms. Very comfortable bed. New shower room down the corridor. Quiet garden. Detailed instructions about location and check-in. Easy to find. Safe off-road parking. Charming host.
Everything was perfect. Beautiful old house, very friendly and knowledgeable owner and great location plus excellent breakfast. Great value for money. I will be back!
