There's nothing not to like ☺️. Chris and Tony are lovely and great hosts , full of knowledge from gretna in the war to the best places to visit and eat. The guest house was spotlessly clean , comfortable and Chris's breakfast was fabulous. The train station was an added bonus , it made it easy to enjoy an evening in Carlisle with the family. There's private parking , lovely walks and it's close to our Scottish family, so we'll definitely be staying again . Just like being at home ❤️

We were here for a family funeral so not the best circumstances. The staff at the hotel were welcoming. Good honest food and spotless rooms. We understand that the owners are working their way through a refurbishment of the rooms.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hotel and room were beautiful and in a great location. My room was comfortable, quiet and had everything I needed. All the staff I met were very welcoming and the delicious cookies in reception were a bonus.

Rooms are motel style and comfortable and adequate size for short stay. Very quiet and quaint about 1 and half miles from village of Kirkpatrick-Fleming.Beds comfortable and plenty of very, very hot water.

Very comfortable room with an excellent breakfast. The staff is very Friendly nice quiet surroundings. We both slept well the only fault is we could not get the TV working but after a long day at the Open in St Andrews, We only wanted to sleep.
