Enjoyed the property and how authentically old it is with it's history. The bedroom was comfortable. The living room/dining room was satisfying and the bathroom was fantastic.

A true Home from Home! Kevin and Karen could not have been more accommodating, and helpful during my stay they were amazing - the room was lovely and cosy, breakfast was cooked to order and was fantastic! Fabulous location, meer minutes walk to the pier and the beach - a lovely welcoming vibe throughout. Would highly recommend if you are visiting the area!
The Chudleigh is located close to Clacton-on-Sea's pier, seafront and shopping centre.

We love this place, 5th visit and its still a favourite. Breakfast is great, with numerous options. Gluten free bread and sausages available. Hosts are lovely. Room is very clean, everything you could need. Bed is very comfortable. I love that they still have traditional things for you to use, a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, little glasses in the bathroom. Bottles of water either side of the bed, which is restocked each morning. Good selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate etc. Biscuits and a chocolate bar. And location is fantastic, a 2min walk to the beach, amusements or town.
Located in Little Clacton and only 50 km from Freeport Braintree, The Lodge provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Great little place for a peaceful stopover, away from the main road and noisy seagulls and bustle of Clacton! Slept well. Plates, bowls and cutlery provided under the bed in case you need them.

A very nice, well kept house with all you need for a holoday stay., Extremly quietly liocated at the green.. Once a year there is a biker meeting and we had the chsnce to see them.earrly June. Pub and Suoermrarket are 2 minutes walk awa. Parking is absolutely no problem
The rooms were lovely and situated opposite a huge green. The hostess was a very friendly lady who made sure we were well looked after and the food was amazing. We loved the quiet of the town and it was just a relaxing place to stay.
Alicia is just an amazing hostess, she gave us clear instructions for everything, a wonderful reception and breakfast was just fabulous. The cottage is very quaint, cosy, clean, and the jacuzzi works perfectly! They have managed to combine perfectly the character of an old building with modern facilities.

The cottage is beautiful and quaint with endearing nooks. Love the feel and ambiance of the environment. The host was superb and catered to our every need.
Immaculately clean, quaint, quirky, quiet and very comfortable! Didn’t get to bask in the jacuzzi bath but will definitely be using it next time. I will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this quirky little cottage. Loved that it was so old and had original features. Lovely quiet village so we slept well. Breakfast was amazing, didn't need to eat until later in the day we were so full! Alicia was very welcoming and looked after us well.
Great location, lovely host, personal touches, dog friendly, excellent breakfast, very nice accommodation in a historic building.
