We had a wonderful stay at Roselands. Amanda is a fantastic host, extremely welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. She even offered to bring us to a nearby restaurant, as we came on foot. The house is beautiful and located in nature. It is extremely peaceful. We had the best sleep. The accommodation is absolutely superb with a great bed, super clean bathroom, and lovely breakfast.
I highly recommend a visit.

I loved it! Cycle tourist arrived hungry and thirsty and got a giant, lovely room—clean as a whistle and charming and comfortable. Quiet! Great lunch of fish cakes. Burger for dinner OK. But wonderful staff and a super delightful stay. Thank you!

This is the third time we’ve spent a weekend at the Bull. It used to be really good but sadly it’s slipped to being just okay and I don’t expect to go back.

Lovely pub. In a great location for the wedding we were staying in. We were able to collect our keys early and leave our luggage there. This was dropped into the bedroom for us. The room we had was at the top of the property up two flights of stairs and was lovely - very spacious! Bathroom was lovely! All very nicely kept. Very impressed. Bed very comfy. Quiet location and you have a key and a fob to get in out of hours. Breakfast in the morning was also really tasty! Recommend this place.
Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt & options for cooked breakfast.
We were cycling the King Alfred Way & Rose had great, secure storage for the bikes.
Rose was particularly welcoming and keen to advise on dinner options, things to do etc.
Lovely old building with friendly staff. We had a quiet room at the back with an excellent bathroom. Nice pub downstairs with lovely craft beers. Best of all was the full English! Great location for walking in the Chilterns and there is a Riverside walk along the Thames 3 mins walk away.
A very friendly welcome from the proprietor. Excellent breakfast. Quiet location and a peaceful household. Easy parking either on the forecourt or in the road outside.
Great location - easy to walk to station and places to eat. Great choice of breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals with very tasty cooked breakfast. Very quiet room, comfortable bed and a lovely hostess. Nice to have tea/coffee & fridge in ensuite room (and microwave but did not use)
an excellent choice for cyclists - there is a safe place to keep the bikes and the landlady, Rose, has supplied toiletries so no need to carry heavy stuff. The location is quiet and peaceful - it’s an easy walk back into Goring for a meal in the evening..just enough to stretch out cycle-weary legs. The breakfast will set you up for the day - lovely fresh fruit and cooked breakfast options, as well as the ability to buy a packed lunch.
Great welcome, great location in a quiet village and the breakfast really does set you up for the day, everything we needed for our stay will definitely stop there again when we we are in the area.
