Beautiful location near the town yet it felt like the country side in a safe neighborhood next to the canal and river easily accessed by bus, taxi from the train/bus terminal in Gloucester. Resturant was fantastic and the owner stated that they are expanding the hours as currently the hours are only Thursday through Sunday for lunch and dinner as they have only been open a few months. The staff could not be any kinder and professional. I would request the garden room the next time we stay as it is at ground floor level.

We had a very enjoyable stay for 5 nights at Stable Lodge. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The location was perfect. The customized breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The owners Mona and Mark couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.

Wonderful hosts and delicious breakfast in a beautiful location. They have an amazing garden. Beautiful fresh cut flowers from their garden were provided in the room and about the house. Coffee and tea were in the room, fresh milk for the tea was in the room’s refrigerator and to my wife’s delight there was even a fan in the room. Wonderful stay.

Well located in the town centre, walking through the entrance arch into a charming old building and courtyard. My room was clean and quiet enough. (apart from the gulls).

Gloucester's Hidden Gem. Pavol (host) very helpful as well as professional, only a phone call away if needed. The apartment was very clean, excellent facilities, very close to city centre and set within a quiet area, only 5 mins from historic docks and marina,, every type of shops close by, Railway station and National coach/bus station within 20mins easy walk.
The apartment exceeded our expectation... lovely place to stay. No noise either during the day or night .

Great location near the docks, city centre and Gloucester Park. The Quays and dock area provided plenty of variety for places to eat and drink as well as shop!
The apartment was modern and furnished well, with good comfy bed and big towels. Basic dishes, utensils etc were very new and what was needed.
Reserved parking space nearby. Plenty of room.
Quiet. Code-number locks made it easy for us to come and go independently. Extra beds were valued when one of us was restless. Adequate storage and hanging space for the two of us. Long bath encouraged long baths! A twenty minute walk into the city centre.
I liked In the family room had a separate room for the children. Was very clean and comfortable. Was a 10 minute walk into the city centre so great location. Was so quiet in the evenings too.
Great location with parking and a short walk into the city centre. We were at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet at night. Our room was large, well equipped and clean. It's a really good budget hotel and we will definitely book again.
