Inn at Ardgour, hotel in Glencoe

A warm, family welcome awaits at this traditional West Highland inn/small hotel. Beautifully situated beside Loch Linnhe, Inn at Ardgour is reached via a very short car-ferry trip across the water.

The hotel is accessed by the Coran ferry from Fort William but do not let that put you off, its a short journey across Loch Linnhe. The hotel is a gem the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our ground floor room had views across the loch, the beds were ok as was the shower. My husband had the full cooked breakfast that he really liked I was a little disappointed with the cold buffet, a better choice of cereal and pastries would have been nice. Our evening meal on both nights was really good and the service was excellent. I would certainly stay again the next time we visit the Highlands.

Cosy and welcoming lodge with amazing staff who made their very best to make us comfortable and helped us to find hikes and distilleries in the area. We took the light dinner every night in the lounge which was perfect after a busy day out sightseeing. The breakfast was also very good. It was a warm and relaxed atmosphere around the place which we truly enjoyed.

Beautiful quiet cottage at the end of a row. Tastefully furnished and decorated, very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with fluffy duvets and nice bed linens. Good shower. Spectacular views of the hills from both bedrooms. Parking on the property. Great location for travel to Fort Williams and Oban. Host had helpful guide to the cottage itself and there were lots of books about Glencoe and walks to do in surrounding area.

Rooms are spacious and well equipped, and access to private balcony was a bonus. Staff are excellent and helpful. Buffet breakfast had a great choice of cooked options, juices, and cereals. The pool and hot tub can be busy, but we found that just after lunch was quieter. Extensive menu for lunch and dinner is reasonably priced for quality and portion sizes, as are drinks.
