Baskerville House, hotel in Glasbury

Baskerville House offers accommodations in Clyro, 30 miles from Elan Valley and 3.8 miles from Clifford Castle.

Beds are very comfortable and rooms are well equipped with tea/coffee, towels and cookies (very tasty!) Breakfast was very nice, well cooked and prepared for us. Additional homemade jams and granola are also lovely. Plenty of room in the bedroom for both of us to get ready for a wedding we were attending. The shower was great and the bathroom was very clean.

Ty Helyg Guest House, hotel in Glasbury

Ty Helyg Guest House is located in Brecon. Free WiFi access is available and the Brecon Beacons National Park is less than 10 minutes' walk away.

Everything very clean and well presented. I had the small double which suited me as a solo traveller. It had its own ensuite shower. All scrupulously clean. Only slight drawback was that it was up 2 flights of rather steep stairs.. but there was a fridge on the landing for milk for tea and coffee which helped. There was street parking outside initially and then once I had deposited my suitcase etc I was given a parking permit and took the car round to the Theatre car park. Plenty of room there. Walk back took about 4 minutes. Breakfast was excellent..proper poached eggs! And gluten free toast. All very nice. Would stay again if travelling this way.

Phenomenal stay with very welcoming hosts, the carriage itself is very impressive and spacious. There is a massive amount of work gone into making it and it shows, every detail is well thought out and there is everything you need for a perfect getaway. The surrounding area and gardens are very quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed wandering around the garden looking at the various flowers, fruits and the bees! The glasshouse is a beautiful sight to behold and surprisingly large. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again one day.

John and Clare are perfect hosts. We had such an amazing stay at Cwmbach Lodge. The location is wonderful and quiet with a fabulous garden with the most amazing views of the Black Mountains There is also a large pond which you can (and my husband did!) swim in! The room is beautifully decorated and with everything you need. There is a lobby with coffee maker, tea bags and a fridge. A lovely breakfast is provided on a tray so you can have it in your room or on the patio.

Great location, right by the river Wye, nice terrace to use literally on the river bank, good parking on site. Quiet location but with several eating out options within minutes walk. Owner responded to questions quickly and was very helpful. Very clean room. Nice touch to have a fresh milk bottle in the mini fridge waiting for coffee and tea instead of the usual UHT pods elsewhere! And canoe centre next door which was a perfect day out.

Great location really close to Bibury. The room had a decent size and private bathroom. It was warm and clean. The food was really good and we really enjoyed the live music gathering in the evening (It didn't finish late) The sunset from our window was spectacular
