Absolutely beautiful place to stay, bed is the comfiest we have ever slept in. Margo was an amazing host. She was very polite, friendly and welcoming and her breakfast was the best I had had in a long time. We felt like we were staying with a friend for the night not just staying in a B&B. You can tell Margo truly cares about her guests. I highly recommend this place to stay and if we come back up for another trip we will definitely be staying here.

Wish we had the time to stay longer! An amazing building, beautifully renovated and maintained in a great location. Our room was comfortable, larger than expected with our own dining table right by windows over looking the grounds. the ensuite bathroom was perfect. And to top it all off, we had an excellent breakfast served in our room. Warm, friendly service from Carol. We loved our stay x

The hotel is charming, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was very good, breakfast was enjoyable and everything was done to our requirements. The rooms are really grand, bathroom was luxurious and clean. It's an old hotel in an old building, we loved the experience.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They always accommodated us and were very generous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Galashiels. The rooms are neat, tidy, and well decorated. The Victorian style of building was very charming and beautiful. The location is amazing, private while being on the river tweed but also close to everything in Galashiels.

Great host and fantastic place to stay. The shower is even better than the one I have at home. The whole place is spotless and to a higher standard than many hotels I have stayed in. Faultless. Great location for cycling the Coast and Castles route.
