Loved the bed-sit style of the room. Was easy to relax in the evening at night. Easy to replenish milk, coffee, tea, etc. from a supply down the hall. Would definitely stay again.

The Caledon Guest House, hotel in Cowes

The Caledon Guest House is situated in Cowes, 6.7 km from Carisbrooke Castle, 11 km from Robin Hill, as well as 16 km from Amazon World Zoo Park.

Great location, beautifully clean, lovely hosts, more like a small hotel than a b&b. Beautiful views from the sea view rooms. Honestly bar is a great touch, good quality coffee and tea in the room. We have been coming to Cowes for years this is definitely in our top two places to stay, and considering the price this will definitely our new go to place to stay. A small fridge in the room would have been great.

The Chequers Inn, hotel in Rookley

Quality of the room. It looked like new. Good qualities for being a inn. Located in a beautiful place. Car/motorbike needed but if you go to the isle, you need a car/motorbike anyway. Private parking with CT which is a plus for people who go with motorbikes.

Not far from Colwell Bay beach and Freshwater centre. Tucked at the end of a local lane it had offstreet parking and the accommodation was in a separate building from the host's property. It was private, quiet, clean and comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating. Good cooked breakfast.

Loved the location, glad we chose that side of the island to stay, was definitely the best side. The site was very clean and quiet, even though the cottages were all fully booked out. Cottage felt very private with own outdoor areas to sit and relax. Enjoyed the hot tub each evening after long days out exploring the island.

The hotel is in a stunning location. Freshwater Bay is busy with beachgoers during the day, but quiet at night. The dining room in particular has a stunning view, although I was completely alone in enjoying it as the high price for food seemed to have scared the other guests away! The generous bathroom was a much appreciated luxury after a long walk, even in the cheapest room option. I also loved the efforts the hotel had made to be environmentally conscious.
