Chaston Manor Hotel, hotel in Fishbourne

Situated in Sandown in the Isle of Wight region, with Sandown Beach and Dinosaur Isle nearby, Chaston Manor Hotel features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Chaston Manor hotel is without a doubt one of my favourite hotels on the Island. The level of service you receive here is absolutely exceptional. The owners of the hotel are incredibly welcoming and accommodating to their guests; nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable with various options available for everyone from solo travellers to family groups. Breakfast here is an absolute must as well - freshly prepared to order using locally sourced ingredients, it is served with genuine care and attention. Whilst the hotel is on a fairly busy road (for the Island at least) you are not bothered by traffic noise. Additionally, you are only about a 10 minute walk from one of the most iconic beaches on the Island, with good road links to nearby Shanklin, Ryde and Ventnor.

Good location. Pam and Jules were very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was fantastic, wonderful fresh fruit salad, cooked breakfast and homemade baked pastries. All served in a beautiful tranquil garden setting, could have stayed there all day on loungers or in the hammock! Lovely shower. Bed was comfortable, tea, coffee and chocolate making facilities with fresh milk. Jules even ferried us to and from the hover port. Nothing was too much for our hosts, they really do think of everything!

Nice accommodation with a decent pub /restaurant down stairs the wine perhaps a little expensive at £12 a large glass of chardonnay ,however beer/ Guinness and meals probably cheaper than most pubs now.. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order with a good selection on the breakfast menu.. No struggling to find parking as each room has its own parking space. Friendly staff also made the whole experience one you'd want to repeat....I could go on....

Great location, literally minutes from the ferry with lovely sea views from the pub garden. Rooms were very comfy with everything we needed. The breakfast was outstanding, such good value. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Perfectly placed for us to walk to Ryde along a coastal path, which you can get on pretty much opposite the Inn. We will definitely be back!

Extremely convenient to the Portsmouth-Fishbourne ferry, yet feels quiet and secluded (is also peaceful at night). Very close to Ryde and Cowes (5-10 minutes drive to either) and hence to major sights such as Osborne House. Very friendly welcome. Rooms are very good and comfortable. Food also very nice. Excellent breakfasts. Easy to park.
