Simple Inn, hotel in Featherstone

Located within 12 km of Middleton Park and 13 km of White Rose Shopping Centre, Simple Inn offers rooms in Wakefield.

An old house but the owner has made a big effort to paint everything, fit new carpets, new beds, kitchen equipment etc. The house is a good location for town but also is only 13mins walk to Pinderfields hospital - which is why I chose it.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was well-furnished and spacious. We had a lovely sleep and woke up feeling very refreshed. The whole house had a very charming and cosy feeling. We honestly couldn't fault the place - It was also an ideal location for what we planned to do during our stay.

Lots of character with beautifully maintained gardens. I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the back garden patio - delightful aroma of spring flowers! Bed was particularly comfortable too. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the host, Ewa - thank you, I will be back!

I tell you what! Amazing! Couldn’t fault, not really any constructive criticism other than possible too cheap. Check experience was second to none, made me feel at ease, couldn’t do enough for me. Not really used to guesthouse/bnb but I was put at ease immediately and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Breakfast cooked to order, filtered coffee, best fresh orange think I’ve ever tasted and the best bits of a full English on request. Honestly, for a business trip you cannot fault this guesthouse
