The Lion Brewery, hotel in Farnham

The Lion Brewery in Ash provides accommodations with a garden and a bar. This property offers access to darts, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Stayed as a stop over for cycling the King Alfred way between Winchester and Reading. We just wanted a bed, breakfast and a bathroom for the night with somewhere to secure our bike that wasnt too expensive. This filled the requirements exactly. A band was playing till quite late on Sat night but we didnt mind as they were so good and we were so tired we fell asleep to the music anyway. Great curry house within sight too.

Very lovely owners. I got a free upgrade to a room with an ensuite and the facilities were excellent. Even complementary breakfast items in the room and proper milk rather than UHT.

Charming little cottage in delightful location, beautifully decorated, and appointed to a very high standard. Clever use of space and though tiny it didn't feel at all cramped. Very central and convenient, yet quiet and secluded, with suntrap courtyard garden. Perfect!

Vicky and Robin could not have been more welcoming and charming. They were definitely a ‘cut above’ as hosts; the accommodation and hospitality provided, including an excellent breakfast, were all first rate. I will definitely stay again when visiting family nearby.

It has a very old English character, I can imagine this place lights up fabulously during Christmas time. I find the hotel very quaint and quirky. The Vintage Snug which was sufficient for a night’s stay was quiet and comfortable. Me and my partner liked it. Breakfast the next day was awesome. Service staff was very attentive and helpful.

Lovely large room. It was quiet in spite of being near a main road. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board in room with usual tea and coffee making facility. Plenty of hanging space. Breakfast was good with cereal fresh fruit and full English. Variety of teas. Evening meal was delicious. Service in the restaurant was great. All the staff were professional and friendly. The spa looked lovely though didn't use.
