Location was great for us as it was between two jobs whilst working in the area. Both our roms were comfortable and very clean. We had an evening meal which was great and breakfast included in our room price which was very good.

I liked the hospitality. Very friendly people. I was lost and they offered a lift to and from the place I was going for my interview!

Close to the city center, and the private parking space is priceless!! Owner was kind and easy to communicate with. Great for our one night stay in Oxford. Too bad we couldn't spend more days in the city.

The hotel was as described and our room was large with separate en-suite bathroom. There was tea and coffee making in the room. The hotel was a short £2 bus journey from the Train station and probably only a 25 min walk into the centre of Oxford. It’s just off the Banbury Road but was quiet. We arrived at 1pm and while our room was being finished for check in we sat in the very pleasant garden with a coffee and picnic lunch we had bought.
10 minutes away are two really good pubs, the pick of which was the Vegan only Gardeners Arms where we had a lovely Sunday dinner and really fun Pub Quizz. Food finishes at 8pm and quizz starts at 9.30pm.
Breakfast was in the conservatory with good cereal options and a good enough range of cooked items for a filling breakfast. Vegetarian sausages were available on request.
Just a few minutes’ walk from Oxford city center, the Head of the River is located on the banks of the scenic River Thames. This traditional inn features a riverside terrace and a stylish restaurant.

All in all it was an enjoyable experience, with two caveats: The room was cramped, and the thumping music from the restaurant’s speaker system made it difficult to go to sleep before midnight.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great location for a concert visit at Blenheim Palace.
Our room was lovely. Well equipped and clean.
The shower room was fabulous.
Breakfast was great as was lunch - very helpful with food intolerances.
The whole team were very friendly.
Would definitely return and recommend.
Food was excellent above average cleanliness excellent, location was great, very quiet easy to get to. Cotswolds. etc. Staff were great the pub itself was lovely.
The Location right in the centre of Eynsham Village. It was quiet and peaceful. There was a cozy, if not old-fashioned lounge that guests could use. We didn't use them, but there were convenient bus stops near by to central Oxford and a couple of other local Towns.
This is a family run pub / hotel, all of the family are involved and they make you very welcome and provide excellent service on all counts
The food is superb, rooms are modern, well furnished, and extremely clean.
We arrived by car and explored the local villages by car also , but we used the local bus to get into Oxford. The bus stop is right outside and takes you into the city centre
Excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit in addition to cereals, yoghurt etc and tasty well cooked hot food. Lovely very clean spacious room and ensuite with very good shower. Stewart, Jemma and the team were so welcoming and helpful even going so far as to print out a map of Oxford for me. The evening meals were delicious - we particularly enjoyed the duck breast. The pub is perfectly placed for a trip to Oxford as there is a bus which stops just outside. Nice walk from the pub down to the canal and the Thames.
