The location was perfect for us. Two keen motorcyclists and Military Road a short ride away. I find this part of the island quieter which is perfect and the island is quite small so everything is 15 minutes away which is great. The garden is awesome and watching the red squirrels was fun. The continental breakfast was really good and I was happy with everything. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The area around the Old Mill is beautiful with ponds, streams, etc. A gorgeous setting for the summer. We went in October it was still pretty but you wouldn't wish to sit outside. We had dinner at 8pm and the fire pit was not lit and we were told that they just had let it die down. If they had the fire on, it would have been warmer and a nicer atmosphere. The fire was on when we checked in at 4pm? I really thought the fire would be on in the evening. I was cold and thankfully they had blankets in the restaurant which I used whilst having dinner. The ladies toilets in the restaraunt were much warmer (I stayed there a bit to warm myself up). Food was good though.
The room we had was large, clean and nicely set up. I couldn't locate a hairdryer in the room.
