A real treat!
This is a charming and delightful former country train station, 2 miles outside Petworth Village and close to Petworth House.
Our accommodation was in the restored classic Pullman train carriages, each converted into 2 en-suite bedrooms. The carriages stand along the platform next to the station building, where a satisfying breakfast is served ion the old waiting room! The carriages themselves are fitted out with a good sized double bed. Most of the original paneling and decor has been retained and the room is decorated with period artifacts which give authentic character to the whole experience.
Located in West Dean and with Goodwood Racecourse reachable within 2.9 miles, The Selsey Arms provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.
Located 8.7 miles from Goodwood Racecourse, The White Horse Inn offers 5-star accommodations in Pulborough and features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great location for breaking up our weekend walking the South Downs way. All the staff were great. We ordered dinner and it was exceptional. Really gutted that we had to get back on the trail before breakfast was served as I'd read great things about it from other reviews. We were offered a bacon sarnie, which was a nice touch. That said, missing the full breakfast gives us a good excuse to visit again in the future.
Friendly staff, clean room, excellent food, including breakfast. Good choice of gluten free options. Pub is situated in a quiet village with lovely views of the Downs and with lots of footpaths for day walks right from the door. Near West Dean Gardens, Singleton Open Air Museum and Goodwood.
Everything about this gorgeous little pub was fantastic. The owners were so friendly, the room was pretty and extremely cosy and clean. The pub itself is quaint and traditional, but very warm and welcoming. Stunning beer garden. Food delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Great location in beautiful village with lovely walks from the door. Facilities and accommodation excellent, quiet room, comfy bed, good bar and dining area, good food, very helpful owners and staff. Provided box of board and word games, pens and paper! Treat having Nespresso machine in room.
Charming countryside pub with rooms above, spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and approachable, and aided us tailoring our plans for the weekend. The mini fridge for milk in the rooms was a nice touch. Great selection at breakfast also.
