Cute little pub, friendly "locals", and good room, with little touches that made up for the size. Easy in and out, nice atmosphere.

The Wight house B&B is in a great location. We were walking the Isle of Wight coastal path and stayed here for a night. It is up a hill from Ryde Pier.
It is a key box check in where you get the code sent to you and then you gain entry from the box outside the door.
Our room was clean and airy with the bonus of an outdoor seating area with table and chairs.
Breakfast was excellent, host was really welcoming, he sat and had a chat with us before taking our cooked breakfast order which so far has been our favorite breakfast on the Isle of Wight. There was a great selection of cereal, yogurts and fruit + fruit juices to start with and then the choice of a full English after.
I would recommend the Wight house and if we come back on the Island would definitely stay again, if we were not walking the island would make this our base for the duration.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
i was a little concerned it might be a bit noisy given it's proximity to the main road but I needn't have worried. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, I had an excellent nights sleep and the friendly staff cooked me a big breakfast that kept me cycling all day.
Stayed at Albert Cottage after Isle of Wight festival and the staff at the hotel were really accommodating the whole stay, letting us get our keys early and showing us where the room would be later. The stay was easy and the hotel in a great location with a bus stop really close by and only a short 10-15 minute walk from East Cowes ferry. Only around 25 minute walk from West Cowes ferry depending on the floating bridge wait. Room was really clean and bathroom lovely!
This boutique hotel is an absolute delight. Neighbouring Osbourne house so a great location for visiting. Lovely rooms, great staff and the breakfast was delicious. Beating my mum at scrabble while enjoying an after dinner drink in the bar was also great fun.
