This is a unique and lovely house. There is a water mill inside the house! There are footpaths right there and if you are a Jane Austen fan, it is only a little over a mile walk to Box Hill, site of a pivotal scene in Emma. FYI you can also drive to Box Hill if walking is an issue. The owners are lovely people. I would recommend spending the extra for the full breakfast as it was very good

really quirky, fantastic location and surroundings. perfect for nature lovers or people just wanting to relax.
Robin was a welcoming and extremely helpful and attentive host. Alex who is also there showed us the grounds and animals and was really interesting.
Breakfast was amazing with top quality produce - the eggs and tomatoes were particularly standout but the whole breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty. It would be good to stay again and try Robin’s evening dinner.

when traveling with work it's nice to find somewhere that feels like a home and this is it. David and Jane are amazing hosts who will interact as much or as little as you want, I will always be staying here should I need to come to the area.

The room the only clean place was the bed that I’m glad. It is above the pub so it is not flexible to leave the luggage before check in.
Check in time wasn’t flexible but the staff was nice.
There was an electric kettle and mini sink in the room.

Very lovely owners. I got a free upgrade to a room with an ensuite and the facilities were excellent. Even complementary breakfast items in the room and proper milk rather than UHT.

Very comfortable room , plenty of tea and coffee available, lovely cooked breakfast.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great location, handy for the town centre but peaceful and quiet. Lovely and expansive garden with interesting features and lots of sitting areas. Spacious room and well thought out hot drinks facility with hot chocolate and herbal options as well as the usual.
A comfortable room in the charming village of Holmbury St Mary. Very quiet rural area. The manager was most accommodating. The room was well maintained and clean. Internet was really fast. Breakfast had a good choice of fruits and other healthy options. The room is above an excellent pub, which was unfortunately closed on the day of my stay.
This B&B is an absolute gem. Good location, quiet. A big bedroom and everything spotlessly clean. Jill is a great host, makes your stay really enjoyable and has great recommendations for restaurants, activities etc. I would definitely stay again, should I be in the area.
Fantastic stay in a quaint village. Cozy, clean room that felt brand new. Fantastic bed, bed linen and towels. Quiet and comfortable. Great food in the restaurant and lovely staff.
Quaint, charming and cosy is how I would describe this place. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has all the mod cons one can need. Impeccably clean and comfortable. Would love to visit in winter time
