This place is beautiful. Only stayed the one night but that night included badgers and deer that visited the front lawn, the next day had chickens, pheasants and a lovely walk down to the Loch. We dined at night and breakfasted in the morning. In a word wonderful. Elle and Chris are just the best. I reckon if you contact them direct it may cost a tad less as well (they have a website)

Beautyfully remote location surrounded by forrest, lush green hills and peacefullness. The room was very nicely designed, perfectly equipped and large, the bed super comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a great view is another highlight of staying here! Last but most importantly: the extremly friendly and welcoming owner!

The b&b is set in a perfect location with Loch views. There is a private little beach where you can relax in front of a little beach fire, take in the scenery, or take a dip. The hosts are so welcoming and provided anything you needed, including beach shoes, a fire kit, and plenty of advice on local attractions.
Wonderful host with excellent insider tips (e.g. hiking trail from Farigaig, Falls of Foyer, Glen Moray Distillery, Culloden Battlefield, River House in Inverness).

The house is in a quiet location and the way there offers many photo stops.

Balachladaich was absolutely wonderful. Lovely rooms and decor with panoramic views of Loch Ness. Beautiful location to stay. John and Fiona have created a relaxed atmosphere, with John being a great host and storyteller. Highly recommend this Guest House to all travellers.
