Great place to stay, friendly staff, very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Good comfortable beds, very clean and tidy. Great restaurant with lovely freshly prepared food, very resonably priced.

The B&B is located outside of Durham, near New Brancepeth. Catching an Uber in and out of Durham was easy and pretty inexpensive. The property is charming and the owner is wonderful. Be sure to have at least one dinner at the restaurant on site.

I stayed for one night with my dog and Christine was an absolutely amazing host .
Nothing is too much trouble for her and that also goes for all the staff
Bed and pillows were wonderful and comfortable . Everywhere was spotlessly clean .
Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice
The grounds were beautiful and myself and Willow loved the space and of course Christine's 2 spaniels .
I will definitely be staying again and already planning a trip there next summer with my son and grandson from Japan .
Best stay and well recommend .
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
My son is starting university in Durham. I am very happy that we found Anita and Ian's house, which is under 20 minutes from Durham city centre. The house is very comfortable, clean and quiet, really well equipped and it was very easy to communicate with the hosts. We will surely return!
Very nice quiet location, perfect comfortable and cozy home which is perfect for seeing all of the local areas. This place is definitely recommended- You shouldn’t stay anywhere else I will definitely be returning!
Lovely house in quiet area, but within walking distance of shops and amenities, House was spacious, comfy and cosy, beautifully decorated and well equipped and exceptionally clean. Great base for a short break. We stayed here to visit Crookfest - only 10 minutes or so away on foot, great location.
