Diamond House, hotel in Crick

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Rugby centre, Diamond House has free parking and free Wi-Fi.

A nice central location to Rugby, great for single person business trips on a budget. Off-road parking at rear is a bonus. A little dated decor but not an issue for stopovers. Worth the £1-5 for your own toilet upgrade. Comfy little rooms, nothing special but equally present. Will stay again.

We stayed for a short weekend while Competing at nearby Onley. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, and had comfy beds. Basic but perfect for a short stay. We didn’t sample the breakfast as didn’t have time but the restaurant looked very clean.

Built long ago enough to have a bath as well as a shower; luxury to be able to soak after a long day! Generally updated to a modern standard including a good modern TV. More space than in some recent builds, and the window opened as far as you wanted for fresh air with no annoying limiter or sealed unit. Really very quiet despite (obviously) a motorway very close.
