It was amazingly cute loved all the little nooks and attention to detail was lush little goodies on bed and in baskets everything from bread to jam and goodies in the fridge

We absolutely loved the Bear Hotel and always make reservations there when we visit Wales.
The rooms are charming with a mix of old and modern furniture, the bathrooms are updated and the showers have good water pressure, important if you have long hair!
The breakfast is served in an adorable restaurant immediately across the st with delicious coffee and an array of breakfast foods , cooked to order. The owner and his staff are incredibly attentive and you are not rushed at all! Everything is quaint and charming as well as delicious!
A quite exceptional 'boutique' hotel. Only two rooms so book up early if you want to experience this hotel! beautifully furnished and finished bedroom, comfortable, spacious and quiet (despite being above a thriving country 'pub'). And the food served in the restaurant (again best to book in advance) - by Rock & Scallop - was worthy of Michelin stars.

Would have been brilliant if there were also benches undercover as outside benches naturally get wet after rainfall. Quick service from staff when it was discovered toilet roll missing from bathroom.
Comfortable lodge. Felt like a home. Good WiFi and Netflix. So peaceful and quiet at night . Good sleep. Few minutes drive to the lovely village and people are friendly. 20 minutes drive to Cardiff city centre. Like to stay there longer but the price.
If you go there on road, you will see there looks like road work, A48 and see the radio tower before that turn and see the sign ‘Dent Wilkin Farm’, follow this sign
Lovely quaint place to stay, somewhere a little different. Loved the decor and loved the pull down bed the whole concept is brilliant. So quiet aswell, if I could fit it in my garden I would 😂 there are other rooms available on the site it would be fab for a family gathering. Large fridge, 2 little hobs for cooking a sink and a microwave. Lovely shower, just do the dishes after you have used it as the hot water can run out.
