Achilty Guest House, hotel in Cononbridge

Achility Guest House (formerly Achilty Hotel) is an 18th-century inn offering accommodation as well as free parking and free WiFi in the Highland village of Contin.

The location was quiet as it was rural however was located on the main road. Our room was at the rear of the property so I expect that we were fortunate not to have the rumble of the road during our stay. Our room was spacious and easy access. It was in the main clean, bedding and towerls were good but see my "didn't like" comment. Check in was very easy.

The B&B is very close to the city centre and the station. It's no more than a 10 minute walk from there at a leisurely pace. The breakfast was great, with plenty of options to choose from. The room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of storage space. Joyce and Alan were the perfect hosts, both very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again and will not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Clean, well equipped, plenty of space for two, and a good hot bath. A thoughtful welcome pack - some treats and some practical items. All very comfy for us, and Zorro dog. Convenient parking, and a great location for exploring this area of Scotland.

The breakfast was adequate, but could be improved by having cheese, cold meat, prepared fresh fruit, and a cooked option available. The location has lovely views, and is convenient for travellers on the A9. Nice and quiet at night. Very clean and comfortable room.

A lovely welcome from Daniel who showed us to our room and explained everything well. A lovely large room with tea and coffee facilities just outside. After the initial welcome we were left to enjoy our stay but had a phone number if we needed anything The whole house was very quiet. The continental breakfast selection was good.
