Lovely pub in a quiet village. Road was being repaired overnight but the hotel informed us in advance we didn't hear it. Perfect location for the Harwich ferry ( 16min drive ) and much cheaper than accommodation closer to the port.

Apartment has everything you need for a week's holiday. It was quiet until guests moved into ground floor flat and TV was very loud.
