Beautiful pub in a lovely village. Our room was cosy and had great facilities.
The highlight of the stay was the service shown by the front of house team member (I didn’t catch their name). We arrived early for a wedding and she made sure our room was cleaned first so we could get in early. Whilst we waited she made us feel welcome and offered us drinks.

Breakfast ample, hot & well cooked, although no spinach for my partner's breakfast on our last day. Lovely pub garden to relax in. Staff friendly & helpful.

Location was perfect and on the square within easy walking distance to explore Cirencester. We had dinner on the first night and couldn't fault any of the food and the table was ideal for 6 of us. The breakfast was also very good. Service was brilliant and all the staff were lovely during the duration of the stay. The room we stayed in was small but quiet compared to other rooms where our family were staying at the front of the hotel (car and shop alarms, that kept going off) so can't complain about our lovely quiet room at the back of the hotel.

The bus stop was very near from the hotel, so we could go Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water by bus. And also the supermarket was near.
