We were stunned to walk into the room with its lovely decorations, size, a/c, large shower, beautiful overlook to the hillside. They had robes hanging, and slippers nearby. A scone was set under glass on the table, with clotted creme and jam in the fridge. They thought of everything--even the in room coffee was Nespresso pods, and breakfast was included the next day.

This is a great, out of the way place with very nice rooms, and hosts. The only issue we had was there was some road construction and it was difficult to find the place. Also - the location map on booking.com is completely inaccurate! it was about 1 mile off of where the actual place was. Once we called them, it was no problem, and we got there easily.

Location was great and nice to have private space and somewhere to park the car. Dog friendly, my boy had the best first few days away. Clean, great shower. Great location if you want to do plenty of walking. Local shops within walking distance. All amenities.

Great location for us as I had back surgery at Barlborough Hospital which is 2 minutes down the road. Husband ate at the Harvester on the complex. Very comfortable beds, generous sized double room and very quiet. Room was clean and tidy, a little tired around the edges but we didn’t have to pay a lot for a 2 night stay. Free parking on site too. Staff were welcoming and will not only be recommending but will use again when in the area. This is our second stay now. Also a very large garden centre close by 👍😃
Lovely large modern room with nice ensuite and walk in shower. Large very comfy bed. Although our room was facing a very busy road, the windows kept out the noise very effectively. Where we were located we heard no noise from other guests.. Excellent breakfast. We were attending a private party and the room was very good and the food excellent .

Truly exceed our expectation for a pub hotel - the room was beautiful, comfortable bed giving us such a restful sleep. Great location and private entry to accommodation part of the pub. No breakfast offered HOWEVER to our surprise there was a continental breakfast set in the room for next morning breakfast....how thoughtful! Once again, The Spread Eagle has made us looking for pubs with rooms first instead of going straight in search of hotels.
