The bedroom was lovely and warm. And the bathroom very clean. There was a large TV which we watched and a kettle with tea and coffee. The beds were comfy and there’s a characterful pub downstairs.

The location was nice and central. The staff were excellent. There was a problem with the radiator in my room but they provided me with a heater and I was very comfortable.
The Lychgate is a recently renovated guest house in Caldicot where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.

The place was spotless. Breakfast excellent as we do not particularly want a cooked breakfast.
Nice touches in the room, cake, sweets and biscuits. Plenty of milk ( which is unusual in many places)

The bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was made fresh and was piping hot. They were very attentive and making sure you had plenty and enjoyed the breakfast. The homemade scones are to die for. The owner was very friendly and gave me time to have a chat.
