I felt very safe it was a 18-20 min walk into town.
I enjoyed the room. The bathrooms were wonderful! After traveling for 2 weeks with terrible bathrooms and even black mold in one, this updated bathroom was HEAVEN. 🚽🚿
The host, while not obligated, offered and helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs. Small but HUGE when you're a solo traveler.
The breakfast they offer for an extra charge (not a lot) was absolutely 💯 worth it. Best meal I had in Cheddar, and they proved gluten-free bread! 🙌🍞
As a solo traveler, I would 100% recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Cheddar.

Definitely the breakfast was the best part, location to cheddar was great! It is on a very busy road, but the house has very good sound proof windows, so you can’t hear the traffic at night

The room was large, very comfortable and well equipped. The surrounding garden was delightful, the lavender bed with all the bees buzzing in it was a highlight for me. The property itself had a lot of character, and was in a rural location. Jane was a fantastic host, communication was excellent and the premises and facilities were accurately described. Breakfast was delicious and of a good size.

Gorgeous house which was beautifully decorated throughout to an exceptionally high standard. Great location, walking distance to all the local attractions but also quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything.
What a lovely annex, within a leisurely walk of just about everything. Quiet, well equipped, well finished and with unexpected facilities to include a small, neat, kitchenette. The host was amazing and brought us a lovely breakfast each morning, - home made baps with sausage, egg and bacon and we had fresh baked cinnamon rolls for one of our mornings. Lyn, thank you for being such a great host and for being so friendly and accommodating. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cheddar.

Lyn was an amazing host, very personable and great attention to detail. I booked 2 nights, but then due to work commitments extended my stay by booking an additional night, then another night, so I was grateful for being put up at short notice twice, technically this review 10/10 is for three bookings.
Nice self contained accommodation, quiet, private and comfortable. Breakfast delivered as requested on time with tasty treats.
Plenty of options to eat out locally within easy walking distance.
Great location just down the road from Cheddar Gorge (shame it was closed while we were there) and plenty of shops just a short walk away.
Lovely garden with a pool which was nice and quiet. Booked our time for breakfast so no waiting to get seated. Our breakfast was a lovely cooked full English with toast and coffee.
