Breakfast from free range eggs from deb's Garden. Delicious sausages from the butchers. Wonderful fruit salad to start and amazing home made cake to take as a doggie bag if it's a bit heavy first thing - and porridge with maple syrup. Super comfortable bedroom with massive telly and Netflix and snacks and diverse hot beverages in the bedroom. Deb was an enchanting host and fascinating to talk to.

Hugh and Sarah were the perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming from the outset and all during our stay. The room was comfortable with a great en suite shower. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. We would highly recommend a stay at Withy Farm.

Stuart welcomed us on arrival and provided us with information for our stay. He was very approachable and we immediately felt comfortable. We loved the idea that the property had pigs so we were able to spend time with them and this was definitely the highlight of our stay.

Beautiful country inn in a quiet village, just a short drive from the M20. Ample parking to the rear of the inn. We stayed here twice whilst travelling from Europe to the north of England and back. Couldn't ask for a nicer welcome from the staff. For our 1st stay, we had a room in the inn itself, and for the 2nd, a room in the converted stable to the rear. Both times we were perfectly comfortable. Tea and freshly ground coffee are offered in the rooms, along with a welcoming chocolate marshmallow. Nice clean bathrooms with a good hot shower.
The inn itself is lovely, very welcoming, and cosy with a nice log fire. Plenty of choices for draught beer and gin lovers. Excellent evening meal options on the menu. And equally delicious breakfast options in the morning, which can be perused whilst enjoying a complimentary croissant. Perfect.
This is a gem of a place with wonderful staff, who were only too happy to cook a pre-ordered early breakfast for us, to give us time to make our ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. We really couldn't ask for more, and will definitely be staying here again on our future travels to the UK.

The Shepherds Hut was well presented, very clean and well equipped for what it was. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The bed was large and comfortable. The host, Victoria, was welcoming and the continental breakfast was very good. Very pleasant accommodation for the right clients. See the next section and I will explain.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Staff especially the owners daughters where exceptional hosts and had a professional and charming and calming demeanour who steered the ship well, well done all!
Food was well prepared and tasted very good, loved it, well done the chef!
The location was stunning and the room itself was beautifully presented. I was impressed at the Egyptian cotton plush towels and vegan luxury toiletries provided. The pub was a great place to have dinner and the food was delicious.
Beautiful old pub, great beams! The annexe for the rooms was very well designed for privacy, quietness, comfort, and maximum use of space.
The menu was varied and interesting, and they catered perfectly for my gluten intolerance. Beers were great too!
Breakfast was superb, and again provided gluten free croissants, cereal, toast and sausages.
All fab, and so close to the Chunnel too. Would very highly recommend.
Very charming historic building and absolutely lovely and caring host / staff. Small, quiet room in an old cottage next to pub. Everything new and clean. Great breakfast. Conveniently located between Dover and Leeds Castle at the M 20 / A 20.
Thank you, Claire!
At least, and maybe more, our 6th overnight stay here when travelling between UK and Europe. Managed to book our favourite room and found it to be even nicer than I remembered. Really enjoyed our evening meal and a comfortable, quiet night before a very early start. As we couldn't have the included breakfast they kindly made us a picnic bag to take away. All good. We look forward to another visit. Thank you.
We stayed overnight in the annexe suite, with a large living room, bathroom/toilet and private yard. It was quiet and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was pleasant, as was breakfast. There was a field where our dog could exercise.
