It was a great location, exceptionally clean, and the hosts were very friendly. We loved the breakfast. It was top-notch. My wife continue to say over and over that they thought of everything. Great attention to the details in making our stay very comfortable.

Tim and Katrina are incredibly welcoming, they truly made me feel at home. As a lover of old houses with character, this was perfect for me. There are drinks making facilities in the room, including a little mini fridge for milk which was provided. I stayed in the twin room and the beds were comfortable meaning I got a good night sleep, especially as I needed it.
I booked breakfast with them whilst there and it was wonderful.
They have a kitchen you can use if needed to make sandwiches and pop a few bits in the fridge. The location in the Peaks District is perfect (surely the centre of the universe) set in a beautiful village with a pub across the road that is also welcoming and does great food. I would highly recommend staying and I will definitely book again if in the area. The owners have a wealth of knowledge on walks in the area and were truly supportive as I was staying during a Hill and Moorland Leader assessment.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great location and very nice property. Hosts had left drinks, cereals and milk for arrival which was very nice. Good selection of books, games and tv too. Lovely chip shop just over the road. Hosts were excellent and responded to queries immediately. Benefits of having private parking cannot be overstated.
The breakfast I had was very good, I needed to leave at the same time breakfast started. Chef kindly served me early and I kept it simple having mushrooms and poached eggs (yum) on wholemeal.
Room very quaint but modern, lovely rickety floors and a cute low window overlooked the hills. Pizza box in the 'garden' was lovely. upstairs had a small private balcony which was a nice touch had I been with my hubby and in great weather. Overall very good and I would recommend/stay again as a base for walking the area.
Very comfortable, modern and spacious apartment in the centre of charming Castleton in the beautifull Hope valley.
You can start walking from the doorstep.
Private parking.
Excellent location in a beautiful village, a few decent tea rooms, cafes, shops and pubs but quiet enough to still feel quaint. Excellent location to the tourist info centre and close enough to do Mam Tor etc.
Staff on arrival friendly
