The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was cooked to order (and the chef even offered to buy our preferred brand of cereals or anything else we'd particularly like during our stay), we could eat in every evening and the staff always made room for us even if the restaurant was full,... All in all we spent a wonderful holiday in the Fox and Hounds and would definitely recommend it as a perfect place to stay to go and explore South Wales.

Charming old farmhouse surrounded by beautiful garden area. Wall of windows lined with plants and geraniums in the breakfast room was just beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and bright overlooking the garden. Quiet location but close enough to town. Hosts Jeff and Adrian were great and so accommodating.

Jt was strictly average in all departments. Over priced breakfast Sky tv showing football. This is not a hotel but a pub with half a dozen rooms. Everything about the room smacked of doing it on the cheap. The bed was clean and comfortable i will give them that and it was quiet which was good. I cannot recommend this place for the reasons mentioned.
Value for money.
Welcomed. Comfortable sleep. All rooms are private bookings. Quiet location, opened the window in the morning to hear the birds singing. Clean. Kitchen use a bonus. Recycling facilities.
Love the Mexico theme and other decor from around the world.
