A lovely, old, stone-built inn. The pub was friendly, busy but not overwhelming. The rooms were of a really good standard, well decorated, comfortable, with high quality 'extras' (toiletries, teas/coffees/drinks). Had a really good night's sleep, uninterrupted from the pub below. Also a really good, full English breakfast, served by a very lovely and welcoming member of staff. I also really liked the Virginia Woolf link, which I was unaware of when I booked!

We were made so welcome by Joby, made it feel like home. Breakfast wasn’t expected as not included in the booking but he made us croissants in the morning which were so nice!

The host was incredibly friendly, and I’m so grateful for the thoughtful treats she prepared, including delicious croissants, cakes, and milk. It was such a warm and welcoming gesture! The scenery was stunning, and the property had a lovely little terrace where I was lucky enough to see a beautiful rainbow. It’s also conveniently located close to St. Michael’s Mount, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting the area.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Izzy was a fabulous host. She was helpful before we arrived and her instructions made it easy to find. She welcomed us and left a lovely stocked fridge and biscuits and chocolates. The local St Ives toiletries were great. She has thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay and the place is immaculately clean. There’s a nice private courtyard for coffee in the morning before a day at Carbis Bay beach, which is down a very steep hill! It’s in a quiet residential area.
Very private cottage, a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Very modern with luxury extras like excellent coffee, welcome drinks and treats. Spotlessly clean. Izzy the host was super helpful. Would totally recommend staying here, with easy parking.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. First impressions the decor is amazing Izabella has done a fantastic job! Our room was very homely, private, clean, and bed very comfortable. There is tea, coffee and a fridge. It’s a great location as only a short walk from St Ives, and a bus stop just down the road.
Super modern stunning spacious apartment, great location with sea views and private parking. Lovely open plan kitchen lounge and huge TVs in every room. Well equipped with everything you need including quality bedding and towels.

We drove elsewhere to get breakfast as we had plans for that day that involved us moving on quickly, but we very much appreciated the muffins and the coffee as a pre-breakfast starter. We were welcomed warmly on arrival by Izabela and saw her again the next morning when it was time to leave. In between, she left us alone, which is how we like it. The patio at the back is a great location to enjoy a glass of wine, and was nice and quiet.
Breakfast excellent, especially liked the fresh fruit option, although hubby very happy with his Full English. Parking easy & on site. Hosts very welcoming & helpful. Not an issue for us, but guests need to be aware this is a hilly area, so walk to beach is down a steep hill. Frequent, cheap train to St Ives, so leave the car behind when visiting restaurants etc.
Clean, tidy and beautiful attention to detail. The colour coordination, the furniture arrangement. I couldn’t help but fall in love with this property the second I entered it. The welcome basket was absolutely quaint and full of amazing treats including scones, jam, biscuits, and teabags. A couple of helpful magazines were dotted around the living space, and in the bedroom, two lindt chocolates placed upon the cushions. An absolutely pleasant stay, with two double doors onto the private patio and a short walk to Carbis Bay beach.
Great location, approximately 20 minute walk to St Ives or Carbis bay. Not far from bus route and local taxi service was efficient.
Small self- contained room, quirky decor with basic amenities, opening out to lovely little courtyard with dining table/ seating area and fire pit, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with parking. Izabela was lovely, we didn’t see her much during our stay although she was available if we needed anything.
