The place is perfect and anyone looking to stay in the area should definitely stay here as you will not be disappointed in any way. The breakfast was amazing, I did not finish it. The room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities. Plenty of tea coffee and other drinks within the room for you to choose from. Wi-Fi was excellent. Bed was massive, lots of pillows, warm and comfy. A quiet nights sleep. A warm welcome on arrival and in the morning for breakfast. Loads of car parking space. If I was in the area again I would certainly stay here. Absolutely nothing to fault. I arrived late at night and wished I was able to arrive earlier as they had a great menu in the pub that I would have liked to sample.

It was perfect! I had a very comfortable and cosy stay. The owners are so friendly, and the property is in a lovely quiet village right off the A1. It was beautifully decorated, there was fresh milk for a cup of tea and the bed was very comfortable. A real home away from home! They had everything you could need.

Excellent accommodation in a great location with very friendly staff offering great service, food and comfortable rooms. And a great breakfast to start your day off.
The property was a lovely quaint pub with attention to detail. The staff were lovely and very helpful, enjoyed a meal in the pub with some lovely ales.
Host and staff were welcoming and helpful, finding us a safe location for the tandem. Room was well apointed and comfortable. The rooms are away from the bar, so are quiet even when the pub is busy. Food on site has an ambitious menu, with plenty of options. Full breakfast is delivered in generous portions.
