Jen was amazing and welcoming! Breakfast was great, facility was gorgeous, including the little solarium outside. Very central! Few minutes from the train station, I think it was 20-30mins. walk to the beautiful beach!! Also around 30mins walk to the basin’s bird reserve info center, which was quite interesting. Bonus: there is a lovely little movie theatre and art centre just 3mins walk away from the facility.

This was a lovely property, with stunning views from the breakfast-room. We were able to relax in the lounge in the evening, and had a great breakfast the following day. The room itself was spacious and comfortable.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The staff (owners?) were very friendly, helpful and good company. It's a fairly rudimentary hotel and the rooms are pretty basic but a good size and the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, if a bit limited. Didn't have dinner there (there are not many seated dinner options in Brechin as it's not a tourist town) so can't comment. It was cheap though and pretty decent value for money on a one night stay. Would stay again for same price.
Beautiful house and garden. Lots of parking. Close to good local restaurants. Excellent breakfast, enjoyed the porridge. Great shower and comfortable bed. Thanks so much Agnes.
Located in a nice little town (Brechin). The room/house was clean and quiet. Breakfast was superb and Agnes was very accommodating for our arrival. Was a great place to get away from the 'city'. Agnes was the best part of the stay, reminded me of spending time with my own grandma.
Lovely grand period house, quiet secluded location with private parking yet just 2 mins walk to town centre. Beautiful tastefully decorated spacious room with modern en-suite. Fabulous breakfast with top quality locally sourced produce. Fantastically helpful and friendly owner Agnes. The very best B&B.
