Travelled alone to attend a local family gathering, just a one-night stay without breakfast. Room was warm & cozy, pefect for solo or couples, in purpose-built block of six, set back from a welcoming Hall & Woodhouse pub. Dinner & drinks at the pub were good, location was quiet, nice hot shower in the morning before setting off. Would visit again.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Very comfortable property with private garden. Great hosts. Great location nearby to walking track along the River Stour (where I saw otters!). Good location as a base for day trips
The barn is set in a beautiful quiet village, but close to lots of places of interest. The host Bill made us feel very welcome, offering us tea and cake on arrival. Throughout our stay he went out of the way to accommodate us, even giving us a lift to the restaurant we had booked when our car was playing up. The breakfasts were superb with lots of choice, including a fresh fruit platter as a starter.
Very light and spacious apartment right in the centre of town. Car park very close and cheap. Comfy bed. Nice shower, good pressure.
Very quiet, no street noise (double glazing).
Easy check in, great location for a local wedding.
Large space.. bedroom, lounge and separate bathroom (shower only). Such a nice surprise to have a lovely big space to ourselves. Easy to park outside. The hot tub and the sauna are private and a really lovely treat.
great location to enjoy country living staying at the pub meeting the locals and day trips to quaint villages thatched houses and village pubs a great experience highly recommended for a relaxing holiday and so different from Australian hotels thanks Barry and Heather for being great hosts
Great location. Private, but the owner was on hand and kindly waited up for our late night arrival. Very comfortable, homely & immaculately clean. Tea, coffee, juice, milk and breakfast cereals, croissant, butter, jams provided. No microwave, but a toaster, hot plate and pan in the kitchenette. Very quiet and restful. A great host. A lot of thought and attention to detail in the equipping of this spacious cabin. Perfect for the 2 of us and our adult son joining us for a night on the sofa bed.
