Very welcoming host. Had stayed before & enjoyed that stay. This one just as good - spacious room, ample car parking space, quiet, comfortable bed. Plenty of little extras & nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was a feast of delight - very ample portions. Especially enjoyed my large bowls of porridge. Delightful setting & a much enjoyed stay.

Great location being a quiet rural village but close to Stockport and Manchester. Good sized rooms with a comfortable bed. excellent food both in the evening and again at breakfast and staff who I really doubt could ever be surpassed; very impressed with the evening staff who I would gladly clone and have work at every hotel I stay at. Also incredibly dog friendly.
