Fantastic hospitality - Shaun was really friendly and helpful both with the practicalities of our stay and with information about the local area. We felt very welcome and valued as guests. Delicious breakfast - loved that it was all locally sourced. Everywhere was lovely and clean, comfortable with nice little details such as attractive plants and decorations. Thoughtful, clear instructions on how to use fittings and appliances such as the shower and coffee machine in the room that you don't always find in accomodation.

The breakfast was good, generous portions, plenty of choice. The staff were super, the location is beautiful and the general atmosphere was wonderful. Sitting in the bar area, or by the window end of the restaurant there's a great view across the lake to the mountains in the distance. I picked Plas Y Brenin as it was closest to our work site and I love that valley. It will be my first choice if/when I return to work at Ffynon Llugwy reservoir. Thank you.
