Linda and Ian made us feel so welcome, nothing too much trouble even supplied us with knives,forks and plates for our chinese take out. Bed was soooooo comfy. We even made it as judges on the karaoke ... Simon Cowell has no worries... great location, also a short drive from St Abbs and Coldingham beaches which we had fun collecting sea glass. Will defo be back.

The building was easy to find, very remote, and very quiet. Excellent evening meal and breakfast.

Very relaxing place to stay with plenty of facilities and nice clean guests kitchen , right next to the beach and in a quiet area , local bus every half hour less than two minute walk away takes you right to centre of Berwick-upon-Tweed, very cheap for an all day ticket.
The Nook is perfectly situated in a quaint quiet street just off the main road. Excellent local facilities. Beautiful ground floor apartment with everything you need provided. Outstanding. We hope to return and stay a little longer next time. Felt like home.
The property is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and everything you might need has been thought of. It is in a great location in central Berwick close to restaurants etc but is also very quiet.
The whole experience of staying in the hostel met all my expectations inasmuch that I required accommodation central to all of the places I wished to visit during my short stay. It was quiet and had a quaint charm suited to my requirements.
Luxury it ain't, but if you want a cheap and simple place in an interesting building in the centre of town, this is perfect. Plain and simple room, but clean and quiet, with good wifi downstairs in the communal area. Exceptional value for money. Able to buy roll and tea for breakfast.
