The Apple Inn, hotel in Belford

Set in Lucker, The award-winning Apple Inn boasts a terrace and bar. This inn offers on-site dining. Free WiFi is offered. Guest rooms in the inn are fitted with a coffee machine.

Very easy place to find it was in the middle of nowhere but very quite. The accommodation was clean and tidy. There was great Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The bathroom was clean and had a really good shower; there was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Clean towels and bedding were provided. You were provided with a toiletry pack and tea pack. I particularly liked the option of being able to take the food to our accommodation for a quieter dining experience. This place was great for dogs; it was well-fenced and secure. My absolute faviourte part of this trip was the log burner it felt even more cozy with the snow falling outside.

The Blue Bell is a genuine museum piece - an eighteenth century coaching in on the Great North Road. It's charming, but it's not a Premier Inn built twenty years ago and refurbished twice since.. it's a survivor, with more character than luxury.
