What a lovely historical home! Friends in the area recommended my staying there for a short trip from London to the Bedfordshire area to see friends.
The Manor house is quite impressive and one could spend a great deal of time puttering about and viewing all the rooms. My room, the red Kings Room was on the top floor, with very nice views of parts of the Garden.
Comfortable bed with a canopy, en suite bathroom, coffee maker and electric kettle. Prior to arriving or shortly thereafter, you can place your order for which type of breakfast you'd like to have in the mornings. I recommend the Full English... it was substantial.
My host and owner was a wealth of information regarding the history of the establishmrnt. My conversations with him were insightful. The Gardens are pretty, but it was a bit too wet to sit outside, I opted for the bright and airy library to have a cup if tea, read and relax.
Staying here was a treat, almost like being in a period movie. All that was missing were Mr. Carson. Mrs. Hughes Thomas and the Crawleys. 😉

We loved our room at Poplars Farm - it was clean and comfortable, dual aspect with a separate large and stylish bathroom. Lovely big bed, we slept very well. The breakfast was great, fresh and tasty with really nice toast. We were the only guests and ate in the pretty garden room. Lots of space to park.

The apartment is great well organised clean has a lot of space has a beautiful balcony with small garden, comfortable beds good location is close to the city centre I think 8 minutes walking, clean quiet building there is no noise to bother.

The Annex is a very spacious quiet comfortable accommodation in a nice private country setting. You can walk out the door and you are practically in the countryside.

I had a Riverview from the very top bedroom which was rather quaint. The building is charming my room, just missed a tightly touch of homeliness. The bed was extremely comfortable.
