Dalegarth House is a beautifully peaceful place to stay. Firstly, the location itself had wonderful views of the mountains and derwentwater lake. It is a very short walk into Keswick and an even shorter drive. The gardens around the house are perfectly kept, and the house itself is stunning. The breakfast room is comfortable and inviting, and the communal lounge is a wonderful touch. The room we stayed in was wonderful, a beautifully modern room which was spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The hosts, Craig and Claire, were fantastic. Craig was so pleasant and funny and very knowledgeable about the local area. Claires' breakfasts were phenomenal. Everything was cooked perfectly, well presented, and generous portions. The whole stay was fantastic and we could not have asked for better.
Owned and run by the Edwards family for almost 20 years Acorn House provides the perfect “home from home” experience when visiting the beautiful town of Keswick.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Karen and Tim are the perfect, welcoming hosts and the guest house is completely charming.
Greeted with a pot of tea and ginger cake on arrival, the standard of guest care never wavered. Breakfast is an event and the best we’ve had in our many weeks of travel. We booked the guest house based on the strength of its reviews and I’m pleased to say they were completely accurate.
I loved Link House. It's in a great location with easy access to some worthwhile attractions in the area and has a stunning setting. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. I'd definitely stay again and would recommend it to others! A good find.
Great B&B in a nice quiet location overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Breakfast was amazing (Full English). Rooms were comfy and a nice set up. Hosts were great, including little Rocky the German Shepherd puppy who made the odd appearance. Great location as a base for many places to explore the Lakes
