Lovely clean B&B perfect location for cycling the King Alfred's Way.
Welcoming, helpful host who provides good secure storage for cycles and even helped to provide a pump for the cycles
Great breakfast
Lovely large room, great comfortable bed and lovely breakfast
The local pub is a 3 min walk and they provide good quality food

Lovely private room and bathroom, clean and tidy and well equipped with kettle, toaster, fridge and tea and coffee. Great location near to town but not noisy. Helpful text with how to find and access room arriving late.
The hosts were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Carol took account of my dietary sensitivities and provided an excellent breakfast. The room is situated in a delightful quiet patio, very comfortable and well-equipped.
I have stayed here a couple of times before as my children live near by so very convenient for me. The hotel is not a boutique hotel and doesn’t pretend to be. For the price the facilities are great. The room big and very comfortable bed. Hot shower, big white towels, very friendly staff, that’s a big plus. Free car parking at weekends. Very quiet. It’s restaurant is like a sports bar, so not my thing but food is okay. Typical British dinner. The breakfast is really good. Worth having.
Easy to access property, and had everything we needed for a place to stay for the night. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and cosy. We especially liked the shower, a real luxury with large shower head. Plenty of soft towels and I liked the soft throw over the bed too. Very clean and in a quiet location, despite being only minutes away from the centre.
I expected a hotel room but found out it is a bed and breakfast in a private house. All was good with the room and very friendly staff. Just expected something else.
However we got good contact and got good advises for restaurants and thins to see nearby.
A quaint characterful cottage in a charming rural location in the grounds of the host's house. Secure accommodation and parking within gated grounds. Very convenient for Basingstoke and the M3 but a peaceful and quiet location. The host was very friendly.
