Beautiful house with lovely rooms. Cindy is an exceptional host we were staying as we were attending a wedding which was before the advertised check in time. Cindy allowed early check-in so we could pick up keys and freshen up after our long drive. The facilities were great lovely little touches like the fruit and biscuits in the room. The bed provided a brilliant night's sleep after which we were treated to a wonderful full English breakfast in the lovely dining room. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend this gem of accommodation for a longer trip. Shame we only required 1 night

Single room without breakfast... was met by the owner who was amazing, booked a single room but there are areas outside and a large dinning table for fresh air and food, very close to a lovley pub shower was absolutely amazing

Bed was a little uncomfortable- Wirey mattress. No Guiness on tap. The pint we had from a can tasted strange. The pub itself was a bit tired and the tables in the bar sticky and not clean. The corridor and stairs to the room were not in the best shape. The room decor was fine and Sky Sports was available which was great however, no sports in the bar which was a little disappointing.
Set in the Bedfordshire countryside, the Airman Hotel is 15 minutes’ drive from Hitchin and the A1(M) motorway. The restaurant and bar feature fresh-cooked food, beamed ceilings and a log fire.

Price was cheapest on market and it achieved what I needed it for, a simple stay.
The staff were helpful and allowed me to check in 40 minutes early.
Free parking is nice.
It was nice to have a bath.

My room was lovely and clean, as were the shared bathrooms and kitchen. It was very convenient for breakfast at nearby Daisy's Diner. My stay was hugely helped by a resident, Sydney, who made sure I could park securely and knew how everything worked. He was the kindest and most helpful person ever!
The owner/manager helped me immediately with my request to park a motorbike securely.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Located in a beautiful spot and a superbly charming building and excellent room that I stayed in. Lovely welcoming hosts and the cleanliness was exceptional. Totally recommended the b&b and would definitely stay again.
Redwing Lodge was convenient to where our relatives live in Baldock. It was value for the money we spent which included a basic but acceptable breakfast, and the staff were very welcoming and the bed comfortable. Although on the main A1 it was quiet in the Lodge.
Quiet country location. Beautifully maintained and spacious. Offroad parking. Room very well appointed with excellent bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was all you could ask for, and the host welcoming and charming.
Location perfect , you would hardly know that you were just a few miles from the A1, very pretty and quiet location.
Cindy a lovely host, nothing too much trouble, we had the twin room which overlooked lovely gardens. No en-suite but our own private bathroom just across from our room, this was ok for us.
Fantastic breakfast, we ate so much! Set us up for the day.
